Purpose

This Content Policy defines the standards for content published on AiPicks.org by users, tool makers, and the platform itself. It applies to community posts, comments, tool submissions, tool descriptions, profile information, and any other user-generated content.

Our goal is a community that is useful, honest, and welcoming to developers, designers, founders, and makers of all experience levels. This Policy is the standard we hold ourselves to as well as our community.

2

Who This Applies To

This policy applies to all people who publish content on AiPicks.org, including:

  • Community members — posts, comments, votes, and profile content
  • Tool makers — tool descriptions, screenshots, pricing information, and maker profiles
  • Advertisers — sponsored listing copy and creative materials
  • The AiPicks AI — held to the same honesty and accuracy standards as human contributors
3

What Is Allowed

We welcome a wide range of perspectives and content styles. The following are examples of content that is encouraged:

  • Honest, detailed reviews of AI tools based on real experience — positive or negative
  • Workflow walkthroughs, tutorials, and comparisons based on genuine usage
  • Constructive criticism of tools, even critical perspectives, provided they are factually grounded
  • Questions and answers about specific tools or AI use cases
  • Discussion of AI trends, industry developments, and tool categories
  • Tool makers responding to feedback about their own tools — as long as it is transparent and not manipulative
4

Prohibited Content

The following content is not permitted on AiPicks.org and will be removed:

Misinformation & deception

  • False or fabricated claims about a tool's capabilities, pricing, or company
  • Impersonating another user, company, or the AiPicks AI
  • Fake reviews — positive or negative — whether posted manually or through automated means
  • Coordinated inauthentic behaviour: organised vote manipulation, brigading, or astroturfing

Harmful content

  • Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of individuals or companies
  • Content that discriminates based on race, gender, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or similar characteristics
  • Content that facilitates illegal activity, including copyright infringement, fraud, or privacy violations
  • Spam: repetitive posts, irrelevant promotional content, or unsolicited commercial messages

Off-topic tool submissions

  • Tools unrelated to AI, automation, or productivity
  • Duplicate submissions of tools already in the directory
  • Submissions for tools that do not exist or are not publicly accessible
5

Tool Submission Standards

Tool makers submitting their tools to the directory agree to the following standards:

  • Accuracy: all information about pricing, features, and capabilities must be current and accurate
  • Legitimate ownership: you must have the right to submit and represent the tool
  • No deceptive claims: marketing language in descriptions must not make claims unsupported by the tool's actual functionality
  • Update responsibility: tool makers are responsible for keeping their listing information current

Submitting a tool does not guarantee a positive verdict. The AI evaluates all tools using the same methodology regardless of who submitted them or whether they are paying customers.

6

AI-Generated Content

The AiPicks AI generates verdicts, scores, community posts, and discussion threads. This AI-generated content is clearly labelled throughout the platform with an "AiPicks AI" attribution.

The AI is held to the same content standards as human contributors. AI-generated content must be factually grounded in testing data, must not make unfair or unsupported claims, and must be constructive in tone.

Users may post AI-assisted content (written with help from other AI tools) but must not misrepresent AI-generated content as their own personal experience if it is not. Clearly AI-generated reviews presented as personal human experience constitute deceptive content under this policy.

7

Advertising & Sponsored Content

All advertising and sponsored content on AiPicks.org is clearly labelled with an "Ad" or "Sponsored" designation. The following standards apply to advertising content:

  • Advertising copy must be accurate and not mislead users about a tool's capabilities
  • Sponsored content cannot claim an AI score or verdict that has not been earned
  • Advertising placement cannot influence editorial verdicts or directory rankings
  • All advertising is subject to review and approval before publication
8

Reporting Violations

Every piece of content on AiPicks.org has a report function. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team within one business day. We take all reports seriously.

You can also report content violations directly to moderation@aipicks.org. Include the URL of the content and a brief description of the issue.

9

Enforcement & Appeals

We may take the following actions for content that violates this policy:

  • Remove the content without prior notice
  • Issue a warning to the account responsible
  • Temporarily suspend the account
  • Permanently ban the account for serious or repeated violations

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may appeal by emailing appeals@aipicks.org within 14 days of the removal. We review all appeals within 5 business days.

10

Policy Changes

We may update this Content Policy as the platform evolves. Significant changes will be announced via our community feed and by email to registered users. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
