Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AiPicks.org ("the Platform"). By creating an account, browsing the platform, submitting content, or using any of our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. These Terms apply to all users including visitors, registered members, tool makers, and API customers. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and 18 to access paid services.

AiPicks.org is an AI tools directory and community platform. We provide AI-generated verdicts and scores for software tools, community discussion functionality, tool comparison features, a weekly digest, and related services.

What the platform provides

• A searchable directory of AI tools with AI-generated verdicts and scores
• Community discussion forums, posts, and voting
• Side-by-side tool comparison and AI chat (AI Hub)
• Tool submission and listing services for makers
• Subscription plans (Free, Pro, Maker) with tiered features
• API access for approved developers
• A weekly digest newsletter

To access certain features you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, provide false information, or engage in behaviour harmful to the platform or its users.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with our Content Policy. The following are expressly prohibited:

• Posting false, misleading, or defamatory content about any tool, company, or individual
• Attempting to manipulate AI scores or community votes through artificial, automated, or coordinated means
• Scraping the platform without written permission or using automated tools to mass-submit content
• Submitting tools you do not own or have legal rights to represent
• Harassing, threatening, or intimidating other community members
• Attempting to circumvent access restrictions, rate limits, or security measures
• Using the platform to distribute spam, malware, or phishing content
• Impersonating any person, company, or the AiPicks AI system

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Platform including posts, comments, tool submissions, and profile information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and use that content in connection with the operation of the Platform.

You warrant that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights, complies with our Content Policy, and is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms without prior notice.

AI verdicts, scores, and recommendations are generated by our AI system based on testing performed at the time of publication. They are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional, technical, or commercial advice.

No tool maker can pay to influence, adjust, or suppress an AI verdict. Sponsored placements are clearly labelled as advertising and are editorially separate from AI verdicts.

The Platform — including its design, code, AI systems, and original editorial content — is owned by AiPicks.org and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

AiPicks, the AiPicks logo, and associated marks are trademarks of AiPicks.org. Unauthorised use of our trademarks in connection with any product or service is prohibited.

Paid plans (Pro and Maker) are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. All prices are in USD. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.

You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then. For eligibility details see our Refund Policy.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if we determine you have materially violated these Terms, if required by law, or if your account poses a risk to other users or the platform.

On termination your right to access the Platform ceases. Provisions that should survive by their nature will do so, including the intellectual property, disclaimer, and limitation of liability clauses.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AiPicks.org shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including reliance on AI verdicts, community content, or tool listings.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or USD $50. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email and by prominent notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the effective date. Your continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

The version number and date at the top of this page always reflects the current Terms. Previous versions are available on request.
